The weather was perfect today for the Primary 5/6 walking trip to Rostrevor. They all managed to climb up to Cloughmore Stone. Once at the top, they were told about how according to folklore, the Big Stone was thrown across Carlingford Louth by Finn McCool during a fight with a giant rival. They tried to move the stone themselves but were unsuccessful. A big thanks to Phil and Colm from ‘Ok Let’s Walk’.
