The Primary 5 pupils have continued to learn about different types of food during the lockdown and since their return to the classroom.
They have been researching information about vitamins and mineral sources on the internet and are able to name and sort foods into the correct food groups (Carbohydrates, Proteins, Fruit and Veg, Dairy & Fats).
During the week the pupils made their own smoothies using fresh fruits and they also planted vegetables in the polytunnel. Hopefully the seeds will have germinated by the time they come back to school after Easter!
We walked our Daily Mile today too! It's a great way to relax and clear the mind (for the teacher too!)
