Pupils learning about electricity & energy
22nd Mar 2014
P5&6 pupils worked in groups to experiment with simple electrical circuits. Each group had the task of building an electrical circuit that would light a bulb. Some groups experimented with buzzers then to see if they could get them working too.
Pupils learned the difference between a positive and negative pole and how a complete circuit must be built in order to get a bulb to light.
The children also learned about how electricity is made and transported to our homes as well as the potential dangers when working with electricity.
