New School Council & Eco-Committee Elected April 2016

We are very proud of the contributions made by our pupils in our school.  We have had an Eco-Committee for a number of years now and our school grounds are testament to their hard work and creativity.  Since the inception of the Eco-Committee in 2009, we have upgraded our school pond, build bird boxes, installed raised planting beds, harvested potatoes and even won the Tidy Schools Competition in 2012!

This year the pupils formed their own School Council to represent their voice in the future developments of our school.  Elections were held in April and pupils from Primary 3 - Primary 7 were elected by their peers to become representatives for their individual year groups.

Photographs of the process are shown below!
